it's john again. This can allow alihan's post count to be higher!

that's what im thinking. I think it's because it's not coded. I might see if my friend's headlight works with the ALC. Mebbe it's coded correctly and I'll just swap it and he can takr it to the dealership and have the one recoded again.

I'm so tired. I hope the adaptive unit from an LCI works. Gotta buy my friend dinner if it does!

Hopefully so. I'll swap the entire headlight onto the car. If works good, then great! Then swap the alc module onto my headlight. Then call dealership and tell them to perform coding under warranty. I hope gary is up for this...lol

Im going to Bay Diagnostics and have them recode my ALC unit for $130. I hope that works and it should work fine.

p.s. i'm going to order some lighting from you soon, once i get new m-tech bumpers (decided to do that first)

This whole retrofit sounds like a PITA! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product though. I might have this in my future mods list if you can report the actual "headache" count lolz

PITA mods are usually the best mods. they make you feel its so much more worth it. =)
