What are you starting from on the non-LCI. Halogens? BiXenons or AHL?

If you have BiXenons and you are just putting on LCI BiXenons, then I'm pretty sure you can just convert without reprogramming. Will need some new plugs for the headlights - but that is the easiest bit.

What's the end target? Full OEM function?
I did just the headlight retrofit w/o programming no problem, but you don't get all the function such as soft on/off.
Cable splicing can be done in fact the retrofit cable cost only +/- $40 (which includes front plugs & tail adapter) from the dealer.
You'll have to deal w/ some iDrive warnings since the AE & hi-beam are different.

The pins inside the plug are all diff ... pre LCI uses round pins.

Oh, what about if u have adaptive headlights? Are the plugs the same? Anyone have a picture of the plugs for the LCI and pre-LCI for comparsion? I know also that the LCI no longer has the inner high beams.
