Did you remove the weatherstripping (can it be removed)?
I cut between the weatherstripping and the body and I could see some paint peeking out. Tried to heat it up and re-stretch it to cover and it just looked worse. The weatherstripping was so tight it didn't leave room for tucking (08 535i)
