Last Mod: PSS10
Nice set up bro. I love my PSS10s except for that fact that it weighs alot more than stock. I agree with you on how solid the monotube body is it would take a 50 calibre bullet to penetrate it.
Thanks guys! Will get some updated pix on the new stance, and be sure to set camera on higher resolution too.
Same here. it didn't help in shedding unsprung weight I was hoping for but sure adds to the stablility on all corners. Car feels like the wheel base is much wider, in addition to all the usual performance benefits of no body roll on hard cornering, no more squating and diving in acceleration and braking etc...

It´s good that i could amuse you but how does the weight of the shocks matter?
Only the part that moves with the body is unsprung weight, the rest is for sure sprung.
Im not saying that a lighter car is not better, it is, but we need to separate sprung and unsprung weight.
I will correct myself here,

What I'm saying is that you will learn how porky the PSS10s are when compared to stock but car sure handles better. In this case I'll definately take the good with the bad. As far as unsprung weight facts I'll just leave that to the Pros
PSS10's has higher requirements per monotube manufacturing specifications. So they look and feel like holding a shotgun vs water gun compared to OEM Struts...exaggerated in terms of weight and built quality.
I am no expert in sprung/unsprung weight, but I believe wheels, brakes and suspension components are part of unsprung weight and with reductin in weight, can have significant performance improvement. PSS10's are heavier than stock's but will outlast and outperform as such.
I've been looking into unsprung vs sprung weight and have heard from 1:2 ratio all the way to 1:10 ratio from modbargain's write up on benefits of lightweight wheels. Can anyone provde facts?
