I recently purchased two sets of Xenon headlights to replace my halogen lights that came with the car. I bought clear Euro Spec lights form Ebay complete with bulbs and ballasts. Following other threads on the forums I thought that was all that was needed for a retrofit. This was also confirmed by the Ebay Seller. I took the lights to my dealer who installed them, but the xenons strobe, they will not stay on. My SA tells me that I need a new lamp control module. Has anyone else run into this? He says this is "ghost work" and he isnt even sure if this will work after the $500 module. He is calling me back tomorrow morning with a quote for the module and labor, but it is not refundable if this does not work. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance for your replies.

i've done the retrofit from halogen to xenon. you need 2 things, the headlights and the actual retrofit kit. the part number for the kit is 63120304713. hope this helps.

my SA didnt know nada. i was talking to him about the retrofit and he was pretty adamant about it not being possible. a tech was in the room at the same time and had to correct him and he told me it was very possible. try talking to the guys in the parts department, or the person who sold you the car.

If you dont mind me asking.. How much did your dealer charge for the retrofit kit? Also, would you be so kind as to give me the name and phone number of your SA in case mine still doesnt want to do this... Thanks again.... I really really really appreciate it. I will be out $1000 for the lights if this doesnt work. Good thing for this forum

with parts and installation it ran me almost 4k. i could have gotten the parts cheaper but my dealer was being a real prick about me getting the parts elsewhere. if i didnt order from them then they wouldnt have installed it. so the money i had for wheels i spent on my headlights. i kind of regret doing it but the look of those halogens were killing me, made the car look cheap IMO. my SA's name is Dennis Ingrasia, his number is 516-625-1000.
