My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT
with respect........ dont do it... in my opinion it would degrade the car.... just my opinion...

Do the doors automatically raise and lower for you?
If not I think raising the door everytime you get in then sitting down and reaching to close it will become tiresome in the long run.
It will definitely turn heads and earn you the 'wow' factor points. In this regard, I think it's pretty cool.
For what it's worth, I think this is more appropriate on a coupe.

It may look unique but a lambo door on a BMW...... :thumbsdown:

ONE thing what is the most important, that you mainly see these on coupes, as the doors have to be long enough that when you lift them up you have space to get in, with 4 door sedan maybe less space, but did they assured you and guaranteed if not working they do it back unharming your car?
You see the e63 has longer doors, those open up more providing more space to get in and out. With the e60 maybe you have to do some break-dancin' to get in, but I think it worth the idea is cool, not that expensive-do not forget you will be the first in the WORLD!!!! among the e60s.
Why do it reverese on the back doors? or also LSD on them backwards????

the doors can go up to a right angle 90 degrees, so as far as getting in and out its up to how you set it. The kit is a direct bolt on to factory bolts, so no cutting or welding. These are easy to install, so they say. The order was really a hold on one kinda a first dibs on it. If it does not work they will take it back. So i think i will install and see for myself and if i dont like the final look then i will remove.

Wow! The 300C looks pretty DUB!!! It's fun to look at, I don't think I would do it, but if you like it go for it. Now if ALL four doors Lambo'd-up, that would be something! I'm sure it's either been done already...or will be done soon. Hey, if you like it...go for it...just don't bump anthing above you...like a garage door, et al. Good luck!
