Greetings,

I successfully got the KSport Coilovers installed today. There were a few lessons learned in terms of install. For the rear i would recomend to remove the upper control arm link and disconnect the sway bar. From there the strut is easy to remove. The hardest thing about the front is getting the strut out of the spindle that its tightly sitting in. It took some persuasion with a hammer to convince it to come out. The entire install took about 6-7 hours for this rookie. Im pretty sure that i could cut several hours off that time now that i have done it once. Anyway, here are some pics followed by my initial reactions...

So right of the bat i would say the springs seem very stiff. I Set the dampening adjustment to 5 clicks to the left and i am thinking i need to make some changes. After my initial ride i came back and made some small adjustments to get the ride height just perfect. Then went on a longer cruise to test out the real world performance..

WOW. The car is like a go cart. turn in is so immediate and the car doesnt roll at all. It seemed to smooth out and rode better the more i drove it. After 1/2 hour i was getting used to the ride. I do have some very slight rubbing when turning hard and hitting a dip but its very slight. I think i can leave it for now as it only happens in spirited driving. Overall i am very pleased and i think they are a quality coilover, especially when you consider the price. Ill post more once i have been able to dial in the dampening a little.

Anyone else with KSports want to post your dampening settings? Please?

I installed my Ksports last week. Well just the rear since I didn't have time to complete the front.
I'm set at 27 out of 32 clicks. I think its a little too stiff so I'm going to dial it down to 23 and go from there.

Yea, 5 clicks from the softest. Today I set them all the way to the softest in hopes of smoothing out the ride a bit. Haven driven it yet though. Ohh, and no spacers..

You might feel a bit bouncy when you set it to the softest.

+1 I have mine set to 4 clicks stiffer from mid setting in the front and 6 in the rears, our cars are made with a little understeer so I stiffened the rear a little more to compensate. Welcome to the club Looks great
