2nd post today, smh
I have a 2007 550i w/ sport suspension. My suspension needs to be replaced and KW's are not in the budget.
I've done some research on the following 2 options.
1-Bilstein B12 Prokit w/ Eibach springs
2-Koni FSD Eibach kit
I've heard good things about he Bilstein B12 kit and would like to know how the Koni kit is and how it compares to the Bilstein kit.
How do they hold up long term and how is the ride quality compared to the OEM sport suspension.
Thanks in advance.

Based on what I've seen/read years ago, Koni FSD is good for smaller cars. On larger cars like the E60 and I would imagine a heavier 550, they would leak. Like I said, that was awhile back so I don't know how they are now. Bilsteins tend to have a stiff ride. However, ride preferences may vary depending on what the driver likes.

Thanks. I want a low maintenance set up and the Bilstein Eibach combo seems like a set it and forget it.
