I just recently put in a replacement air filter from KN , the one that replaces the original one in case any wondered .

A few days ago noticed when I floored it it revved up but quickly fell down to 1500-2000 and from there it started building normaly again

I got word about the fact that Kn filters could have to much excess oil residue , that clogged the air flow meter

So I took it apart again and cleaned it with electrical spray that is said to be gentle on materials , use a little compressed air to blow away leftovers

afterwards I managed to get it to happen once more , but during the day it just got better.

Any Idea what is happening here , problem could be solved already , but I would like to know what Im fighting

Thanx

I know this is the opersit of what you had but just like to share with you.
At 1 time I cleaned the filter and I put too little oil on it and the engine light come on saying over power and could not rev it and the car stoped and I switch it off.
Ater a few mins I restarted it and I was off again. I got home and took out the filter and put some more oil in it and it was fine for now.

I reported in another thread that the filter (i think) has caused my car to stall about 10 times, usually at slow speeds (or after coming down to a full brake from 40mph.

Do you think that the oil keeps pieces of the filter from flying off?
