The outter lip is so similar to the CSL's.. now you have me second guessing..
Actually, the outer lip is not like the CSL's. I had a smooth edge on my wheels. I didn't have that tiny lip, which is why I loved those wheels and still do. Sorry to confuse you even more buddy. Just being honest.

Here's a picture of my old, CSL wheels. Notice the smooth edge around the circumference and near the spokes. The end of the spokes just blend right into the outer edge/circumfernce of the wheel.

The edge that I am referring to is in the red, circled area. Notice in the picture above, that mine didn't have that edge.

The VB3 is another nice wheel. Are you open to considering the BBS CH?

Ha! Thanks Frank! Those are the wheels I had on my old car. Yes, they are nice wheels. I think Rocky should do these over the 710's, but do them in GunMetal. They would look SICK!

LOL! That would be the Miro's too! Hahahaha! Rocky man...these votes aren't going in the direction you had hoped. Take the early sign, close the poll and sit on it for a few days. Or just go with the VB3's in Gunmetal.

Ok...when I first saw VMR was making HRE Monoblock P40 reps, I wanted them immediately for my old M5. However, something didn't look right compared to the HRE's, even though they appear identical, structurally. It turns out it was the finish of the HyperSilver that was bothering me.

I like the brushed look of the real ones, which is more muted than those bright painted VMR's. However, now that I have seen them powder-coated in Matte Black, DAMN!

I always has wished my CSL's had been powder-coated, and to see the 710's done this way.....nice! I am not sure if matte black is the way I'd go, however. I'd prefer a gunmetal finish like some of the other losers above me have already said.

So, I say don't get the VMR 710's unless you are willing to go the extra mile and have them powder-coated for a better looking and more durable finish. You can be the guinea pig!

Hahahahaha! Now he's even MORE confused.

Hey Rocky - What about those ugly M5, 166 wheels? Those are another option.
