Hello K Sport users, I would like to know what you guys recommend as far as a damping setting to achieve a ride similar to the OEM sport suspension? I have a 2008 BMW 535i. I'll lower the car's height to about a fingers width above the tires. My wife is the primary driver and I am just trying to eliminate any nagging about about ride comfort before it starts. Cheers

I don't think you are going to get it to ride that soft. I have mine set to the softest setting and that's about as stiff as I would like to have.

Ok, thanks. The ride is not too bouncy on full soft?

After the coilovers break in I have mine 16 from tight. I had it on full soft and that felt worse than my sport suspension. Now it got a softer ride than sport at 16 from tight

Good to know, thanks. How long was the breaking period?

dunno I bought mine used, I just hear a lot of people complaining about the ride when they first get them. I almost returned mine to stock until I copied Jason's specs on his ride.

Do you have a link to his specs or can provide them? I have tried a search, but no joy.

Well, I think the ride setting also depends on what model E60 your have. Healthservices and I both have a 545i which are heavier than other models. I'd let the coilovers break-in for at least 3k miles.

BTW, toyota2bmw was the Jason that Healthservices was referring to

With these coilovers (after break in) it seems you need to play with your settings to where YOU feel comfortable. I have mine set waaaaaay stiffer than toyota2bmw or Healthservices, but then I have a 530 which is lighter than their V-8 cars. Also, I like a really firm ride so my settings are 4 from full stiff in front and 3 from full stiff in the rear. I like it like that, but some might not. Play around with them and find the combo that suits you. That is the beauty of the amount of adjustment these have, there is bound to be a setting you like
