Yep the subs are there under the seats. I bet you could get a used amp similar to mine for $40 or so.
Where are you located by the way..

Well westal it's all your fault I spent $ on a mod I didn't even know about last week. Saw a MTX Thunder 280 on ebay like the one you have. It was a local guy, so won it and picked it up yesterday afternoon. Not sure when I'll do the install. The write up you did is enough for me to figure it out, but if you do a more detailed DIY it would be even better. Thanks for figuring this out and passing the information along!

I actually bought this amp like 12 years ago, and only used for about 2 so it's just been sittin' around. Really though, if I wouldn't have had that amp, I would've just looked for one that's around 200W or so, has a gain control (important), and has line-level ins and a remote turn on lead (I think you'd be hard pressed to find an amp that didn't have those things).
What's funny is about 2 months ago I tried for a month to sell that MTX for $49 on eBay. Nobody would buy it. And now I'm glad they didn't!
My name is Wes and I am located in Dallas/FW.

Only Logic 7 AMp seems to power all speakers+sub.. but for std. audio there seems to be 2 Amps which deliver to speakers and subwoofer.
