Limited budget so I went with MRR GT-1 black wheels with Falken 452s, 245/30/20 fronts and 285/25/20 rears. I had to forgo my initial choice of Vellano VSO rims. Tough choice but the budget and new pool won. Maybe next time... will be posting pics once they're on.

Thanks... I'm sitting here watching the pool filling up with water as I'm typing this. The jacuzzi just filled up. It probably won't be until tomorrow until the main pool is topped off... Hoping to get some use out of it before the summer's up.
Although this summer hasn't been too bad. It was raining during the first 2 months of the season. I don't recall seeing that much rain in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

I remember you saying that the previous owner rolled the fenders? Hopefully, the offsets of MRR GT-1 aren't aggressive. The one problem that I have with Falken FK452 are the sidewalls are too square thus with an aggressive offset you'll be rubbing. But, at the same time the square side walls are super ridged. The likelihood of a blow out with the Falken are minimal compared to other tires e.g. Toyo T1R.

Good memory Vegas. Seems that this size isn't that common, at least when it comes to pairing fronts with rears. My other choice were the Pirelli pZero. The offset on the MRRs are 20f / 25r. Will these be an issue?

I think you can also get the Yokohama Advan Sport in 245/30R20 and 285/25R20. But the Pirelli, Falken, and Yokohama's seem to be the only choice in that size. I am getting 20x8.0 fronts and 20x9.5 rears and am having real trouble getting matching tires to fit. Falken does not recommend the 285's on a 9.5 inch rim. What rim width did you order mrfva?
My wheels are 20x8.5, et20 fronts and 20x10, et25 rears.

Can't wait to see how those look, the hyper silver edition is on my short list b/c of budget as well. Where did you buy them? I hear Discount Tire can sell them.
Congrats!
Congrats!
I ended up ordering them from Peter of Kickstart Motorsports, Inc. (aka getyourwheels.com on eBay). He gave me the best deal on the following set-up:
MRR GT-1 black face with polished lip and Falken 452 tires
- 20x8.5 et 20 with 245/30/20 fronts
- 20x10 et 25 with 285/25/20 rears
He has both silver and black versions. If you're interested, send him an email at sales@getyourwheels.com. Tell him Frank sent you.
Cheers,
Frank
