Remember, these exhausts were made for OEM bumpers, not aftermarket bumpers. With that said, the install isn't custom at all. At my request, Eloy used a smaller rubber hanger in the rear near the tips and simply pushed the exhaust in a little. That's it. You just have to play with it a little. When you use the smaller hanger and push the exhaust in a little, it automatically moves the tips up.
The smaller rubber exhaust hanger Eloy uses is from Pep Boys, part # is 18711 or 187411 or 187311?

Roger/Tiger, PM Eloy or call RPi for the exact Pep Boys part #. The rubber hanger is like $3.

My Borla was tucked perfect. The muffler was not noticeable looking from the side, and looking from the rear I saw nothing but the tips. I have a stock bumper and the RPI muffler is clearly visible from the side, and even worse, the top of the muffler is visible through the bumper recess where only the tips should be seen. Do you have specifics on the size, name of hanger that you used to replace the rear hanger?

Roger, see post 21. Also, when you push the whole exhaust in/forward, it takes up the distance between the hangers moving it up closer to the diffuser.

Thanks bro. That makes sense. Thanks for the part number as well. I may well have given credit to whom it wasn't due.
