2200 thats with self install. the 83 mm fit perfect.

There is some info floating around about that and a cheap DIY mod a few have been doing. Apparantly the early days of the mod you can search for was about plugging tha vaccum line with a golf tee, these days you bypass the solenoid and connect the lines together. Either way, the point was to force the second exhaust port to stay open even at lower RPMs in order to get a nicer exhaust note. Seems like the reason for the valve is to have a quiter Bimmer unless under accleration??

Conventional wisdom says forcing it to stay open should not cause any problems with changes in backpressure due to the fact that the 535s already have trubos pluggin up the exhaust.

That's what I think I know about it anyway!

Is there quad setup for 535xi with m5 rear bumper or is there anyway to modify to fit?
