But, your sound system will make you feel better real quick.

How heavy is that?

Why is it that some members point their subs towards the front and some towards the back. Which way does it actually project and resonante better in the e60? Looking for tight bass, no thunping needed. Would anyone here actually replace subs under seats and add third sub?
I was always told to face the sub backwards so the sound bounces off the trunk and then to the cabin not to sure though My bass is pretty tight right now but still need to find a place to adjust the amp to make it tighter. I was thinking about replacing the subs under our seats too but it just seems like to much trouble. Trust me one 10" w7 is more then enough bass

For the Lic i'm gonna get the Dynamat to fix the rattling problem.
Remove your license plate frame and tighten the lic plate with 4 screws. Cheaper than Dynamat.

Nice sub iceman! i am sure your car feels more complete now!

i have a L7 system in my car - do you know if changing the subs under the seat is also an option?

Its loud enough for me but some of the guys at eurorev said I need to make some openings so more bass could come out. I'll let you hear it Sunday if I get up in time

Thanks ronald.. It does feel more complete now.. As for changing the subs under the seats I've thought about it but I just don't think its worth it unless i'm gonna change all the speakers to aftermarket with a big aftermarket amp. Reason why is if you just change the sub itself without changing the amp then you really won't be able to tell a big difference from stock. So IMHO I think adding a sub with an amp is good enough if you just want to add alittle more bass.

Do you feel that the back parcel shelf kinda rattles? Also does it sound like all the bass is coming from the back of the car and not centered in the middle anymore? I'm having a bit of a problem about having the sub sound too far in the back. Phase cancellation helped a little bit, but the more I listen to it the more I'm not satisfied with my install, so I'm looking for comments. Thanks.

Depending on the type of bass the back parcel shelf does rattle. Maybe you should cut a hole where the OEM ski door goes and put a grill there I'm getting more then enough bass out of my box I'm actually turning down my bass cause sometimes its just to much bass. Have you tried to adjust your amp?
