Sorry about your wheels. That really stinks.

Definitely checkout some of the rim repair shops. They can do some amazing work. Cracked wheels can often be welded and repaired good as new (often better than new because of the care they take -- tight tolerances).

Sorry man. That bites.

The company is going to send me a replacement one for free in the front. We'll see what happens about the rear one that's bent (inner+outer). Do you guys think tire pressure has anything to do with whether you're more predisposed to bending/cracking a wheel?

Driving in nyc is impossible on low pro tires. the roads are fucking pathetic. there are just certain areas i will never drive and thats one of them. luckly i have no need to drive there anyway. I feel your pain man. im dreading putiing my 20s back on for this same fear. ny makes millions in one day from one bridge alone and they cant repair roads. what a scam

I agree 100%. I'm from PA and it burns me to drive on such crap roads. All the taxes NY/NJ residents pay goes to what? Luckily Aufelgen is sending me a replacement because apparently this is the first time they've heard of one of their wheels cracking. It's so damn stupid that I'm getting new wheels REINSTALLED one week after I had them installed the first time. It's truly one of the worst feelings and I sure many of you know the feeling. Pictures will be posted

Did you run into a huge pothole? Maybe the city can reimburse you for the replacement or wheel repair.

If the city of Weehawken will replace my wheel, that would be ultra-clutch. Anyone know how to go about doing that or have personally done so yourself. I tried doing it when I bent my wheels in Newark last year to no avail. Although that time it was most certainly my fault as I was going quite fast when I hit the pothole. This time around though.... it was a freak incident. I ran into a fellow enthusiast at a rest area today and he told me that it's possible that faulty alignment could also be the culprit. At this time I believe that it's a combination of low psi (shop put 33 all around as per the sticker on the door jamb), faulty alignment, and possibly a one-off defective wheel unit. Tomorrow the wheels will go back on the car. I'm considering doing 36 or 37 all around. I started another post for some stupid reason asking about 19" wheel owners and what pressures they're running (could've done that here). One poster recommended 36. Thoughts?
