hey guys, i ordered my 20' m6 replicas about a month ago, but just got my tires for them today. the tires are falken 452's...staggered set up.

There fricken huge....when i put them against the stock 17's on......it seems as if there is no way they will fit without rubbing , is that when i roll the fenders?

i called like a merchants tire and auto to get them mounted and balanced, and they told me its going to be like $50 a tire/rim...thats a lil steep isnt it?

In the back of my mind, before i even put them on...im thinking maybe it wasnt a good idea to go to 20's...

I could use some advise...

We need to know what your tire size is and your offset before we can give you advice. $50 per rim is alot for mounting and balancing

Thanks fore replying bro,

tires are the 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 staggered set up.

To tell you the truth, i dont know what my offset is and i dont know how to find out either....

I called a couple other places to get a mounting a balancing quote and the best rate i got was like $37 a tire...i was surprised it was that much but apparently 20's cost a lil extra according to them.

Your tire sizes are fine. that is the standr we most use unless you start lowering the car. Now it all depends on the offset and if you have regular suspension or sport suspension as it a bit lowered. My wheels are 20's as well with the same tire size combo. I was rubbing just a bit in the rear with carrying full load so i had to roll my fenders .
I will leave it to the other fellows here to advise on the offset. i dont even know mine

$37-50 for mounting and balancing is almost double what you should be paying. I'm getting my 20's mounted and balanced for $25 a wheel. It should honestly just be a labor charge, and it should only take about an hour to do. So unless they charge $200/hr then there is something wrong with their equation. As for your tire size and offsets you are good to go.

thanks Heiss5,

i wound up paying $30 a wheel so the damage wasnt that bad. However, when i turn my steering now it hits the inner plastic if you know what i mean...its not exactly rubbing from the top, but more from the front...

here is an example.....

---->

if thats the wheel, the arrow shows where it is rubbing the plastic...maybe a lil higher than that

I haven't heard of that happening. Has anyone else experienced this?

By the way, I like your illustration.
