Oh hey-C how can you tell from the exhaust pipes?? Arent all the e60 pipes the same on the outside other than the new 550? I could never tell a difference anyway?
The pre-LCI 525 and 530 have smaller, oval shape tips. The pre-LCI 545/550 have larger, silver, round tips. On the LCI's, the 528 has the same tips as the pre-LCI 525 and 530. The 535 has the old, silver exhaust tips as the pre-LCI 545/550. The LCI 550 has the same, round, large tips as the older version, but they're dark in color (gun-metalish), not chrome/silver.

C - thanks for that description....I was polishing the tips on my 535 this weekend, I noticed how nice they actually are. Rolled tips, dual wall, chrome and with the LCI/smaller bumper fascia cut out...they just look right. Did notice the valve/solinoid on the inboard tip...must close at lower speeds/use and open at higher speeds/RPM's
