What's up everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself, as I'm new this forum. I previously had a 330ci then switched to a Tahoe, then back to a BMW a week ago and here I am.

So browsing previous threads it seems a good sequence in mods would be:

1) Dual Cone Intake
2) RPI scoop
3) JB4
4) Downpipe/Quad Exhaust

Does this seem to be the consensus?

Also, as a previous E46 owner, there was this key sequence "trick" you were able to do to reset your cars adaptive driving to default. It tended to improve acceleration since the car was said to have something in place to adapt to ones driving. Wondering if E60's had something like this also that could be done. By the way, I'm loving this car and it's acceleration/handling!!!

The RPI scoop one is the cheapest and I'd just knock that out. I don't think DCI is on anyone's first thing to do list. I really don't know a lot on the topic but reading numerous forums it seems the DCI is really only useful if you have the other add-ons like the JB4. I'd get the JB4 first or JB4+DCI at the same time. I also wouldn't lump the quad exhaust and downpipes together. The AR downpipes can be done solo and there's not a whole lot of gain AFAIK with quad exhaust.. also there's not really many exhaust options at all for the XI models.

Huh??? I thought you would do the Scoop OR the DCI's, and not both? Is there a benefit to doing both?
