Forgive my insolence but is the primary function of this $300 mod to move the throttle curve up? A rather steep price in my opinion, perhaps it is the fact that it is easliy removed that justifies it?

That said if you can make a throttle amplifier yourself at a fraction of the cost, then for sure, why spend $300 ?
I certainly havnt got the time or inclination to make my own and have no regrets over my purchase of the sb.

I am really sorry for making this a question thread, but the only reason I am not buying it is because I fear it will have bad long term effects. Isn't it bad if the RPM's are always higher than they should be?
