I got the ERROR message too e60insd, but if it doesn't bother you as much to have that error message ONLY IN THE BEGINNING, then its better off without the resistor, just mho... But if your a perfectionist then I just don't know what to say...

Yep , I have had one with no problems, and then had one with intermittent code that would clear on starting, but it finally died yesterday.

They should last a long time, BUT if it does go out or have any error lights I will gladly replace them or refund the $$$ back.

Yah i guess i am a perfectionist. HA!

Seriously, it just bothers me becuase when someone gets in my car and sees all these errors on my i-drive i feel kinda embarassed

I just hope these resistors dont get TOO hot and damage something.

The LEDs are lifetime bulbs so if they ever burn out, we'll replace them for you

I get an error the first few seconds when I start up the vehicle. But it then goes away.
Does your error stay there?

That's normal for some cars to have the error appear for a few seconds and be cleared. It has to do with the car checking for a bulb but once it recognizes the LED is present, it will go away.
