I just had it done my Sapphire Black
I did not have the "fender liner" issue -
The only "beef" I have is that the black cars don't "show" the M kit like the lighter colors!

It definately was a blessing in disguise I was rear-ended which, covered half the total cost of adding the Mkit. I don't think I would have bought the Mkit otherwise even though I really liked the look. As well, i was on the fence about liking the Mkit rear bumper from pics online. It's looks a lot better in person and I like it better but, it would be great if the red euroflectors could be incorporated somehow.

Both the front and rear M Tech bumpers contour in slightly at the bottom, so it is necessary to trim the original wheel well liners in order to achieve a proper fit. I had to trim mine when I installed my M kit. As a matter of fact BMW includes this step in the installation instruction of the M Kit along with some pictures and illustrations. If anyone's M Tech bumpers were installed without trimming the wheel well liners then the liners were probably bent and forced to fit inside the boundaries of the M Tech bumpers.
