When I read everyone's reaction to using JB4, I know it's a must have! Then I remember I wouldn't know how to install it anyway, and back off from pulling the trigger.
I have a 2008 LCI 535xi. It's bone stock right now (other than LED AE's). Would love to install JB4, but I'm a dunce mechanically; Never really worked on a car other than to refill washer fluid (and install AE's). How hard is it to install? From the POV of a non-techinically-attuned novice...? Anyone know a shop in Chicago (city) that you would recommend to install the JB4?
Also, my car is CPO and covered under warranty till the end of 2012 - does having this void warranty? Would BMW figure out I have it on a regular (scheduled) service?
Thanks everyone!

I know kris@modmynav.com has a shop in Chicago.
JB4 is good stuff .. I decided against it since I really wanted to keep my car stock, with an aim to drive it as long as possible. I get pretty excited with just the turbos kicking in .. hahaha .. enough for me.

It is simple. You only need about 3 tools... A socket, an allen wrench and a small screw driver. Line up pins, install the power wire and reassemble. If you can read, you can do the install.

I bought a Cobb for my 335 instead of the JB4 because of the ease of installation, but performance wise you can't go wrong with either. BTW, huge difference!
