On the 530i the Power box will work it give like 10-15 hp and has 3-4 different settings for a throttle booster...( like a sprint booster that is adjustable)
The key is what year is your 530i? If you have the M54 it won't work , if you have N52 you are good to go.

I have a 2007 530i, is it N52?

Would this product work in it?

it's a slight performance bump plus you get a decreased throttle lag (SB style)..and price compared to an SB is good..

Installed the JB+ in my 2008 535XI 2 days ago, it took about 15 minutes to install (follow directions and its incredibly easy). I set it at 75% from the get go.

Everything I read and was told is absolutely true. I am not planning to race anybody or anything, just wanted more driving fun, and the JB+ has done exactly that. Don't anticipate I will be upgrading to JB3, the JB+ has put all the power I want, exactly where I wanted it. Definately the best bang for the buck in power upgrades.

Normal driving is as always, but just push the pedal a bit and you instantly feel power that was never their before.
Compared to stock, 2nd thru 4th gear between 2000 and 5000 rpm is incredible.

Should have done this 20,000 miles ago!

Thanks
