Anyone try one of these yet, ecs tuning sells them I wonder how useful they are? Not very expensive and seem like they should work good.

Do these screw on? There was another thread which presented several options, one of which can be mounted securely to the jack.

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.

good idea, I think I will try one.

It does not seem like a big deal though, I just put my floor jack underneath the slot and not had any problems. Looks like it would just sit on the jack pad.

Certainly would prevent damaging the jacking point. I already damage mine from using an aligator jack.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for one of these. Nobody seemed to have one to fit the e60. Ordered.
Thank you!

Try cutting a piece of wood 2 3/16" X 1 3/16" with the necessary height and you are all set.
