...they are the most important and most expensive mods there are. It may never come to be - this project may never be finished. But I've come a long way since I bought this car: Alpina kit, drilled and slotted brakes... now I've gotta get wheels, drop and the ECU reflash, and I'm sort of hitting this rough spot in my life, where I can't really spend any money on it for a while. Besides, all the time some part or another needs replacing or fixing... guess this is the life I chose when I started modding and I won't give up easily - I'll keep on keeping on. Just sometimes it gets harder to see the finish line - that's all.
Hey, maybe there's a forum out there, where people would understand how I feel...

IMHO, ECU is a waste of money on a naturally aspirated car unless you can get some sort of discount to drop it down to $400-$500. Your best bet is to use it towards wheels/drop.

Oh, and also, since I'm not running a sprintbooster or a velocity unit, I'm considering whatever I would spend on the SB "money saved" toward the ECU - which would take care of the throttle lag. So if I end up finding a great deal, I may end up doing it after - will all depend on what's going on at that time.
Thanks Man

If you want the best warm weather handling, get some summer tires on the new fly rims you want. And slap winters on your 123s and use them aas a winter set. No compromises. Now all you need are some suspension mods. It never stops does it?

As far as I know you do not have an exhaust yet do you? I would put the money for the ECU towards an RPi exhaust...btw...don't get a set of replica wheels like VMR or Miro, I can get away with it down here, but there are so many potholes up where you live those wheels will be bent in a heartbeat...
