im very frustrated.

i cannot seem to find anyone near me that will sell me the mtech kit installed and painted for less than the $3500 the bmw dealer here wants.

when i talk to them about it, i have to go through the parts department, then service.

it is as if i have asked them the craziest question that they have ever heard.

does anyone know anyone in this part of the country that can accommodate my request?

im about to drive out and have it done in cali.

I got mtech replica sides and front from trinity and was charged only $700.00 to paint and install. Check there prices @ trinity front bumper was $350.00 and sides was $200.00 I think so my total was $1250.00 complete. Also I feel there is no need for rear bumper.

U drive a car that costs nearly 60g's. Its good to find a bargain, but u shouldn't sacrifice quality just to save some bucks. Bavarian auto mag sells the OEM kit for $1700 shipped to your door step. Its an average of $1300 for paint an installation. Its 3g's all around, but its a lot of work and a lot of product, and gives the car a sick look, man up guy!

or you can try other places

:l

like this rep kit from vis

http://www.ultimatemotorx.net/20bmwe604drm1.html

under 1000 for the whole kit

but not a trusted vendor like the ones around here

in either case...

...ur gonna have to get it outside of dallas for the most part then have it painted and installed when it get delivered to u

otherwise ur gonna be spending near the 3k mark

its funny... part of my frustration is that i am aware of the deals to be had on the kits from other non-dealer places... i dont have a relationship with a body shop as I have never needed to use one. when i call around and ask how much different places would charge to install and paint the kit, the responses is generally dead air. its as if i am asking for uranium. i have talked to trinity and would buy from them if i thought someone would install the damned thing and not rail me.
