That may be. But I guess if you had the bumper put on, and you had ACC, you could leave out that piece(13) in the meantime, maybe.

Well, the sensor is in a different spot, so you have to move the sensor and adjust it. It's not as easy as it looks...

Thanks, did not know that the sensor was in a different place for that bumper. I learn something everytime I log in to this forum.

Man... I talked to my dealer today and he said he estimates $1400 to get half the job done... and painted of course. the kit comes primed you have to have the dealer paint it.

I only want the front bumper and the side skirts no rear... I was just going to get the whole kit and not install the rear hoping to save a few bucks but GEEEE $1400... maybe not... anyone else in So Cal get another better quote? I spoke with Long Beach BMW

Thats what I said... the installation instructions says 4.5 hrs of labor and .5 hours of troubleshooting... so that makes 5 hrs... and i wasnt doing the rear bumper! I was expecting at most $600 *sigh* too much $$ for my blood...

Someone please find a cheaper place... :'(

The $1,400 actually sounds pretty good. I just had my front bumper removed and repainted for a little over $700. (This was from Marcos Auto Body in Pasadena which is a BMW preferred body shop). I too want just the front bumper. I can't really tell from pics, but does anyone know if the side skirts look like an add-on with a visible seam?
