Haven't posted in a while. Washed the car this morning and decided to take some iPhone snaps. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get my front bumper fixed since I've been meaning to sell it and go back to an OEM m5 setup so the bandaid remains

What front bumper is that? What do you think of it?

Seen a few online, but not sure which one to actually go with for quality material and fitment.

It's a 1m Hybrid bumper grafted together with an e60 m5 bumper. Mine was made by Ranz in LA. Shortly after mine was made a group by was put together for a dozen or so. The mass produced one you see on ebay and elsewhere are FRP material IIRC. This has taken a good beating and the work Ranz did has held up exceptionally well.

Yea , I decided not to go that route. I actually regret not buying them from the dude, but the amount of money it would have cost me to repair and then get them to where I wanted would have been the same amount if I had another custom setup made. Once I get this damn wedding paid for and out of the way I really think Im gonna step my game up to a grand coup or M5 so I really need to stop dropping money on this car.

I've got a set of cheap wheels that I've been eyeing tho that I really want to try out for the winter.

The Canibeat meets were stopped cuz too many stupid kids (and adults,) were burning out and doing stupid crap. Needless to say Fremont PD got wind of it and put it to a screeching halt

 

Yeah it is a little different w/o a lip. I really don't want to spend $1k+ for the Revo 1M lip. Trying to see what other options there are. Any suggestions?

 

i wouldn't waste my money o the revosport one. It's not even made perfect for our bumper anyways. You'd have to do some custom crap to it to make it look right like RedRum did. The one I bought was like 400 bucks. I think you can find some generic ones on ebay too for like 200 bucks, but if you've had it for this long and it doesn't make a difference to you than don't even bother. I've had a CF lip since the beginning so if I ever see one w/o or take mine off it will look off to me. Almost lacking.

looks nice, ive never been a fan of the 1m bumper for our cars. i like your ride, always have. i used to have a pic of your ride when it was that matte silver on my desktop
gotta ask about the mirrors.. whered you get them from? are they oem?

It is crazy how well the M5 mirrors complete a modded E6X. ....almost as crazy as how much they cost! 0__0
