As the title reads,
I upgraded my early pre LCI E60 tail lights with bruces cables. Started with V4's then moved onto V5.0's. I've been using these for a couple of years now without any issues. Recently I noticed that one of my LED rod isn't working correctly. It either works dimmly or flickers on and off when the indicator is on. I don't think there is a problem with the cables as i'm sure this would effect all the rods rather than one. Im assuming there is a problem with the lights themselves. Only problem now is I think the same is happening on the other side as the bottom rod is becoming dimmer than the rest of them.
Anyone else had this issue?

How do you open the tail light? does it involve cutting of sealer?
Hard job and easy demage. No one can promise no water leakage after re-seal. Procedure just like open the LCI head light.
Suggest don't go unless you brave enough.

I've seen this happen before. Your battery may be low. Start the car and check when the engine is running. The old V5s were power hungry and because those LEDs are wired in series the last one is suffering. I got rid of this issue for good on the V6.
