My Ride: 2006 M5
It seems the Mycarr angel eye's (at least the ones I got) do not work properly with DRL (daytime running lights).
It took me awhile to notice this, but I was looking at pics of my car before installing them and noticed that the angel eyes were on when the DRL's were on. Now they don't come on when the DRL's are on. They only come on when the head lights are parking lights are on.
I had someone start my car the other day while I watched and they strobe/flicker a bit when the engine is started and the DRL's come on but that's it. No error codes though which is bizarre.
Any likely explanation or solution to this?
Does anyone sell a comparable product that is known to work with DRL's?
Thanks.

If your car does not have angel eyes as DRL then they will not be one. Cars like the new 3 series coupe have angel eyes as DRL so they are on if your light switch is in the auto position. If your has a separately lamp for the DRL (such as 3 series sedan, pre-LCI) then the AE will only turn on when the headlights are on or when you turn on the parking light.
