Are your song titles in English (roman alphabet) characters?

Hi, Im using the Aux 3.5 mm jack to play my ipod in my 520D 2008. Very fustrating. No charging, steering controls or display info.
What type of interface are you using?. My options appear to be either main dealer fit or Dension gateway 500. Any advice or info would be appreciated

if you have the USB/6fl option, music should be seen and controlled easily via your iPod...

to the OP...do you have the OEM USB option? Aux input? Aftermarket set-up?

here's what an OEM USB option should look like:

Do not have USB option. Using Aux input at rear of console. I want steering control and dash display to include track name, artist etc
