Trust me, the kit will work. I have no nav and a MASK CD. not able to read mp3 cd's. (reading mp3's in your cd changer has nothing to do with the Ipod kit)
As for keeping CD changer, you won't be able to keep the CD changer in conjunction with the ipod kit.
And as easily being worked up. In all my posts, i've said that it works fine. And anyone with the ipod kit and a e60/5 series will tell you the same thing.
If you don't want to believe, then its fine and its up to you. Do as you please.

Yup the p/n you got is the same as my quote from Garry Romani, the iPod interface is in place of the CDC in the glove compartment it uses the CDC fiber plug so must be exclusive BUT it can be in conjunction w/ the SAT radio 'cuz that module is in the trunk.

I dont think that link is for the correct interface. As far as I know, the P/N for the e60 interface is 65110036448. That ebay link is for 65110403651. By the way, one of the notes in that description says "This device cannot be used in conjunction with the 6 Disc CD Changeror Sirius Satellite Radio. " Is that true?? Also, are there any compatibility issues with cars that have an AUX port?

If I decide to install the Ipod Interface by myself into the car, btw I dont have NAV or CD changer, I can just take it to the dealer and pay them for the programming which is approximately 100-150$ right? Thanks

Yup!
If you have the fiber loop in the glove compartment the DIY is a piece of cake...
