The BMW iPod integrator is not working. The system will play a charged iPod, but when the battery dies, so does the system. I used it yesterday (Feb 18, 2010) but don't know if it was charging. Today, I went to play my iPod and it's not working. Anyone else have similar issues or ideas to reset the integrator. Thanks for the help.

its called the scosche adapter to charge it via firewire its like $20 at the apple store and it solves you problem of the ipod not charging

It should be able to charge your ipod, if it was your iphone it would be different. You cant charge your iphone you would have to get the scosche adapter like what praise mentioned. I had the same problem in both my cars, bought the scosche adapter for it so I can charge my iphone and play music, works like a charm. What gen ipod do you have?

I have the 5th generation iPod nano. The description doesn't say anything about the 5th generation...I think it should work the same. Right?
