Ipod Integration

My Ride: Arpil '04 production 545, Orient Blue, Sport Pkg, Step, CWP, NAV, Logic 7, Comfort Seats, PDC, Sat Prep, cip v20.02 (bluetooth and mp3 working great)
Contacted my dealer (BMW Manhattan) re: the new ipod integration. They quoted me $450 for the job....then my dealer looked up my car (Mar/Apr '04 build) on Center Net and told me that my e60 is not compatible with the new ipod integration. Any other users with similar vintage been told the same...or better yet, have had the ipod integration successfully done

It would not surprise me if the dealer was looking at the "old" intigration hence the Not compatible. My wife inquired about the intigration for my e60 and they told her about the AUX imput so they may not be upto speed on the new one for thre MOST bus.
I'd give it some more time.
