Ipod connection

whats the cheapest way for me to install some kind of ipod cable / aux cable in my car.. is there a getto DIY on this? i've been looking but havent found any solutions.

Do you want the cheap cheap way out? or get the ipod to be controlled by the car and display the songs too?

You have roughly 4 options.
1 - Get the Aux retrofit (you'll see AUX available on your entertainment menu) or get the Aux hardware and wire it up yourself. You dont see Aux on your menu but it turns on when u press mute.
2 - FM Transmitter... That solution sucks but it is an option.
3 - OEM Ipod connection. Its good, but not great. Has many disadvantages, but displays the songs on the idrive.
4 - Dension Gateway 500. The best option out there. Also enables you to have AUX and USB functionality and displays the song info on the idrive.

how do i go about this? i dont have the aux in my entertainment section like i did on my 545, will it pop up once i fit it? also, is it a bitch to wire up r is it relatively easy like the ipod interface?
