hey guys,
when walking through the mall the other day, i noticed a carkit from Belkin that costs around $60 and enables you to play your ipod in your car through any radio station.
I was aware of this product before but always wanted to get the ipod auxillary component available from BMW.
The more i think about it, im leaning towards the Belkin product as a cheap and quick solution. Anyone have any experiance with this thing? Is the sound clear? Is it a plug and play device pretty much? Are there any additional items needed?
Any kind of feedback would be great!!
thanks in advance, any kind of help will be apreciated!!

I have tried them all and have to say that nothing compares to having them integrate it into your I drive. The sound its ten times clearer than any FM transmitter or even the aux unput for that matter....

The only reason I would suggest the FM modulators is if you have no other option or if you use rental cars often. Sound is marginal with the modulators. AUX input is better but still not your best option. If you can go with a MOST bus adapter such as BMW's recent $299 adapter. The only problem is that it may not work in all E60's.

I tried Monster FM modulator for my iPod, and it sucked. Then, I switch to AUX for sometime, and still cannot live with it. With iPod adapter, it's great.
All in all, nothing beats CD quality.
