My country's (Sweden) BMW Customer Relationship Dept just told me we will have a European solution for iPod in the E60 before this summer. The dealers have received information about this last week.

One that properly integrates with iDrive? That would be good....

They only said "a solution that is compatible with the E60 sold in Europe".

The dealer offered me this for my 535 delivery in May, basically the aux audio input in the glovebox plus a powercord for about ?200 (from memory). If nothing else is available when I take delivery I might just do this.

My wife bought an IPOD FM Transmitter for about ?50.00 (72 euros) works really well with E60 std speaker system and of course no wiring required.
