Here's what it looks like. Across the top: CD1 (root directory) CD2 (sort by artist) CD3 (sort by album).
Anyone know if the new ipod touch works bug free with the system?

The reprogram will be necessary (if you have the CD) before they upgrade your PROGMAN. Otherwise if they try it will fail. So as long as you don't have them upgrade your PROGMAN, you will be fine!

Depends on what version your progman is. Some early versions won't support the MOSt bus interface.

My idrive displays differently than the one in the picture. Mine says "CD", "MP3 1". "MP3 2", "MP3 3", MP3 4", MP3 5", and "MP3 6". I don't have navigation in my car, that might make a difference in the display.

Exactly, my 550 without Nav showed as you describe and my car with Nav shows as CD1..., etc.

Do any of you guys know how much the iPod adapter + recode costs stateside? Last time I checked with my local dealer, they quoted be $700 for parts & labor/software. That's a bit rich if you ask me. Let me know though, thanks!
