I have the 2nd generation DLO Transpod. It works with either the nano, 4 & 5th G ipod. I get static-free reception. It works great! It has an auxiliary output jack, an in-line battery charge indicator, and a limitless amount of station options. It also comes in white, black and silver. It is also CNet's editors choice. I hope this helps.

I have the Monster iCarPlay. Works great and recharges at the same time. I've had no problems with reception, even with the Sharkfin antenna on the 5er. I'd recommend it!

Griffin itrip nano works pretty well, maybe not perfect to an audiophile, but not bad for the price. With the added benefit of being usable in home/office/2nd car. I will get aux installed soon, but i'm waiting for it to be improved to give proper control of ipod via idrive, if this is being planned.

I despise the fm transmitters. they're terrible in and around the dallas area. they're not nearly powerful enough to overcome the existing radio station that i try to play on. If you don't have a free 88.1 - 91.3 radio station in your area, don't even think about getting one. You'll simply be upset at the poor quality.

However, if you're in a rural area, its similar to listening to a high quality radio station.

enjoy

This isn't 'proper' control integration and FM sound quality is pants.

I recommend the auxiliary input
