Hi Everybody

I',m new to the E60 Forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me out , i just recently received as a gift a complete set of ALU CUBE interior trim

now my problem is i wanted to exchange it myself ! how hard is it to do this? i did a search and i saw that some people posted that it has to be done by the dealer ( what could i expect to pay in labor at the dealer for the complete exchange ? )

Is there any place i can look for the instructions to do it myself w/ pictures etc ?

Thanks in advance
Rich

I done mine by myself. The most difficult part are the doors.
I spend about 4 hours to replace all the trim with perfect fit (no scracthes or damage parts).
For the dash you don't have any screws (just push it with care and proper tool).
When I done mine I didn't find any instructions. I was a blindly fly.

What kind of tool did you use to remove the dash and door trim , and what is the difference from the dash pieces to the door pieces ? do i have to remove the door panel for the door pieces ?

Thanks for your help

Do you have black interior? I was debating whether or not to change my anthracite trim to alum cube. Please post pics when you're done.

For the dash you only need to pull out the trim. I did by the side with a protect screwdriver.

For the door pieces you will need to remove the door panels.

To help you could see on the new trim where are the fastener points.

Did you think overall it was an easy process

( was it difficult to remove the door panel ? )

Thanks

 Not easy because the doors airbags.

If you will have the proper tools, patience and time you should go on.

But if you want to avoid some headache you should send it to the dealer.
