That looks great Ronald!

Simon: I'm sorry to hear that you had to ditch it. Actually I feel a little bad that you had to wait for it and then it didn't work out. But no worries, I'm sure you're going to make it happen with the 3M .

Thanks antti complements really mean a lot coming from you. Im very pleased with myself most of the airbubbles are already gone. I haven't even put my door trims back on and im already getting some complements. I can see the finished line in my head the project is coming along real smoothly.

On a side note, your car is black right? I ask because in pictures I looks like some sort of metallic deep blue. I'm wondering is it because you specialize in detailing cars that your paint doesn't look like others.

Antti car is sapphire metallic black. It has I think blue and gray flecks in the paint. Looks great when the car is freshly washed.

Yes that's correct. I believe there are some green flakes and probably some few red/copper flakes as well in the paint.

The flecks in your paint appear to be more densely packed than the ones in mine. I wonder if the consistency of the metallic paint differs from car to car.

This is off topic (sorry Ronald)...

When I was getting my mtech body kit painted years ago, they found out at the paint shop, that there are several (4 or 5) different "sub colors" for the sapphire black (code 475). They were named something like 475_1, 475_2 etc...
We compared those to the original paint of my car and the differences were very small however.
