Let's get back on topic shall we members...
Stay away from any cone/CAI set-ups, they all result in the same thing, a loss in performance. The only thing you will gain is some auditory satisfaction from cone sucking in more HOT air....
If you plan on running a JB3 as well (I think I saw you post a thread about it), you might find yourself getting limp codes even faster/more often with a CAI...
IMO stick with the stock box, get yourself a drop in filter (K & N or BMC) and perhaps and RPI air scoop (the current set-up I have).
GL![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
positive and negative opinions on personal choices/mods will come when you post pics...take them lightly as most of us do...the only real opinion that matters is yours

aight that's cool.....by the way, I wanted to possibly get an CAI, and I've heard bad reviews on the aFe system. What's your story?

My Ride: A Car
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
i just drilled a 3 inch hole, went to autozone, got an intake flange, screwed it on, and trying to make a dual duct. the m5 duct wouldnt fit so well with the 545i. LOL. I had to relocate a couple items. now i need 2 silicone elbows to complete this.
. Just waiting for my RPI scoop for passenger side....

Looks cool, I'd have to see it in person.
That red light reminds me of two things....
1. night club bathroom
2. a Dark room
What's the light intensity? I know that being in the club bathroom with red lights dazzled my eyes...the drinks didn't help either.

I installed red LEDs inside my car!!! I replaced the two dome, four door and two front seat footwell lights with red LEDs and the 2 front reading and 2 read reading lights with bright white to be practical......cuz it's hard as eff to read with red lights shining down.
Tell me what you think!
