Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking these forums since I got my '08 535i back in July. On Friday I decided to change all my interior lights to the white LEDs instead of that ugly yellow. In the process of removing the covers to the dome lights the tabs that hold it on broke off. Now the clear covers do not stay on and I was wondering if this happened to anyone else, and how did they fix it?

Thanks.

Just put a little crazy glue on it. Maybe a drop not very much.

Tried that. It wouldn't stay even though I held it together for like 5 min to bond, and it ate away the plastic chrome housing. I might just have to buy the whole front and rear housing.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks John, I received the housing last week. I haven't had a chance to put it in yet. You wouldn't know where I could purchase the cover and the rear light housing with the cover also?

Thanks again!

I wasn't forceful at all. I later found out the easiest way was to remove the whole housing itself and replace the bulbs that way. I'll have to buy a new housing for the rear and replace it all together.
