I have a 2004 545i that is completely stock. I am already working on the exterior, tinted windows and black rims, but i want to start modify the performance side of things. From browsing around this site I am guessing that a sprint booster would be the first step, just kinda wondering where to go from there. Intakes? chips? etc

I just recently got my 545 and modded in this order:

(1) Sprint Booster
(2) Speed Innovation Chip
(3) aFe CAI
(4) Exhaust (Haven't gotten it yet)

There isn't much performance wise you can do with an NA car. So there isn't really a particular order.

In the order I did my performance mods:

Sprint Booster, Quad Exhaust setup, AFE intake, ECU remapped.

You can also get some serious performance parts from
http://www.racdyn.com/Localized/Inte..._E60_Motor.htm
You might want to check out their Power System package.

Does the Sprint Booster really help decrease throttle response times? It is worth $300?
