hi guys looking for some help once again. I love that HUMMM sound the 550i makes when driving, i would like it to be more pronounced. Which intake do you guys recommend i should get to get more of that hummming sound and where should i get it installed i live in NY long island.

I have the AFE cold air intakes in stock. It is simple for you to install yourself.

are there any sound clips from the inside of the car. With the AFE will it give the hummm sound im looking for?

Yes and more. In addition, get a free flow exhaust. It will make the sound of the car change dramatically.

in my 525i the sound from the AFE intake is more pronounce above 3K, i don't have a sound clip but it definitely sounds good with the extra HUMMMMM
below 2k there's not much difference, right above 3K rpm it really kicks in.

It's a very simple plug and play. No modifications necessary for your vehicle. There will be detailed instructions included with the kit. I would say it'll take less than 30 mins. install.

another question, if i buy the intake will it replace the stock air filter (orange filter)?
