I have the AFE cold air intakes in stock. It is simple for you to install yourself.

Yes and more. In addition, get a free flow exhaust. It will make the sound of the car change dramatically.

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front. Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.

+3 on r1racer =)
in my 525i the sound from the AFE intake is more pronounce above 3K, i don't have a sound clip but it definitely sounds good with the extra HUMMMMM
below 2k there's not much difference, right above 3K rpm it really kicks in.

It's a very simple plug and play. No modifications necessary for your vehicle. There will be detailed instructions included with the kit. I would say it'll take less than 30 mins. install.
