Im welding on m RPI exhaust this thursday. I currently have on the stock rear bumper. I was planning on making the exhaust come out just as far as the stock one does. My concern is that once i switch to the OEM m tec rear, will the exhaust look fitted properly. I just don't want it to be in or out too far.

the RPI exhaust is a bolt-on though, there shouldnt be any welding. with the mtech rear the tips will look fine since the diffuser of the mtech rear curves downward back to the car.

+1, why would you want to weld it? you are risking damage to the exhaust as well as causing an even bigger headache and losing resale value if you have to cut the exhaust off later to remove/part-out

stick with just bolting it on and following rpi's install instructions....

The exhaust was welded on by the previous owner. Id rather weld it anyway, plus I know a reputable mechanic who does great work. As for resale value, I got the exhaust for a sick price so im not too concerned. Ill let You know how it turns out Mike.

Just use the clamp, don't weld it on....no need to...

Or wait to install it till you get the M-Tech...
