I paid $300 for install. Keep in mind that doing springs for the xi takes a lot more time than the RWD models, due to the front set-up. Anyway, I paid $300 and it took about 4-5 hours. Just make sure they reattach your auto-self-leveler sensor for the lights correctly, otherwise you'll find your headlights pointing to the ground when you turn them on at night. I learned that the hard way.

Congrats!

PS - I did not do an alignment when I got this done. I got a new alignment done when I put my 19's on. That was the only time.

auto-self-leveler sensor for the lights? ill have to write that one down lol. i am going to 19's from 18's. but the car is brand new. should i still get an alighnment?

Yes, after you get your new wheels on there and have your car lowered, get an alignment done. Make sure they use the HUNTER machine which has all those crazy lasers. I guess it's the best of the best.

My install was $260 on my xi....plus tax, not including springs.

As for the headlights....your aim is going to be off after the drop, so pull your NON-dropped ride up to a wall and mark your wheel spots with tape or whatever. Then mark your main headlight marks on the wall with tape, marker, etc. After the drop, pull the car into the same position and re-aim your headlights to your old marks on the wall. I wish I had done this on my old ride prior to the drop...big time saver.
